Problem
As a new business entering the handmade goods market, Meck Designs faced the challenge of establishing a strong, recognizable identity from the ground up. With no existing brand awareness, it was crucial to convey the business’s core values—craftsmanship, sustainability, and modern style—through a professional brand identity that could immediately resonate with its target audience. Without a cohesive identity, there was a risk of blending into the crowded market of handmade goods, making it harder to attract the ideal customers and build trust as a new brand.

I created a cohesive brand identity for Meck Designs that not only lays the foundation for success as a new business but also reflects its core values of handmade, functionality, and purpose.
Logo design: The primary Meck Designs logo is a combination mark designed to symbolize craftsmanship while remaining versatile for various applications and memorable. The brand mark concept is a creative and strategic combination of the first letter of the brand name a hidden “sewing machine” and a “customer’s smile”.
Brand colors: A thoughtfully curated palette led by main brand colors #7B6B8F (dusty lavender) and #FFFDD0 (vanilla cream), conveys modern elegance with a hint of artisanal charm. Secondary brand color #D8A7A1 (vintage rose) conveys approachability and craftsmanship.
Brand fonts: A combination of soft and clean sans-serif fonts to balance professionalism with the personal, handmade nature of the brand.
Brand Pattern: The Meck Designs pattern was created to add depth and consistency across the products and touchpoints, helping the brand stand out visually.
Brand collateral: Designed business cards, product tags, and more that immediately communicate quality and attention to detail.
