Problem
Book & Gate Home Decor sought to establish itself as a luxury brand in the competitive home decor market but, as a new business, faced the challenge of creating a strong first impression. Without a cohesive brand identity, the company risked failing to communicate its core values of sophistication, exclusivity, and bespoke craftsmanship. The lack of a recognizable visual language also made it difficult to build trust and resonate with its affluent target audience.

I created a brand identity for Book & Gate Home Decor that reflects its core values of luxury, elegance, and personalization, ensuring a strong foundation to stand out, attract the right customers, establish a memorable presence, and dominate the home decor market.
Logo design: The primary Book & Gate Home Decor logo is a combination mark designed to serve as the face of the brand. The brand mark concept is a creative and strategic combination of the words in the brand name “Book”, “Gate” and “Home”… The solution is an abstract design that not only creatively combines the words “book, gate and home”, but also reflects the core values of the business, stands out and memorable.
Brand colors: A rich and balanced color palette, led by main brand colors #A0361B (burnt sienna) and #FBEAD5 (soft beige), conveys luxury and warmth. Secondary brand colors, like #E9972D (golden amber), #2B5B3F (forest green), and #09120D (deep forest) add depth and versatility while maintaining luxury, sophistication and elegance.
Brand fonts: A sophisticated type pairing of serif and sans-serif fonts ensures the brand communicates luxury while remaining approachable and modern.
Brand Pattern: The Book & Gate Home Decor pattern was created to complement the logo, reflecting the personalized touch of the brand’s services.
